Reporting Clarity Engagement
Know exactly what to build before you build it.
Most businesses have the data they need. It is scattered across QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and manual reports — and nobody has mapped it into a system that leadership can actually use. This engagement does that in one week.
Is this for you?
This engagement is the right fit if:
Heavy Excel or Google Sheets dependency
Your team rebuilds the same reports manually each week or month. The process is fragile and depends on the right person being available.
QuickBooks with no clean reporting layer
You use QuickBooks for accounting but leadership still asks for numbers that take hours to pull together.
Decisions delayed by missing visibility
You know what you need to see, but getting there requires opening five tools and assembling the numbers yourself.
Growing operational complexity
The business has more jobs, customers, or transactions than it did two years ago, but the reporting system has not kept up.
No single source of truth
Different people on the team answer the same question with different numbers. Nobody fully trusts the data.
What you receive
Five clear deliverables. One week.
Every engagement produces the same set of outputs, customized to your specific business and reporting situation.
Reporting & Operations Audit Summary
A plain-English breakdown of what is working, what is broken, and what is slowing the business down. Written clearly — no jargon, no padding.
Metric Map
A prioritized list of the most important numbers your business should be tracking, with definitions. Eliminates the ambiguity that causes different people to give different answers.
Data Source Map
A clear view of where your information currently lives — QuickBooks, Excel, Google Sheets, email, calendar, job files, CRM — and where the gaps are.
Dashboard Blueprint
A mockup or structured outline of the first dashboard or operating view to build. Not a vague recommendation — a specific layout with defined metrics and data sources.
Next-Step Build Recommendation
A scoped recommendation for what Orivian can build next, with a realistic estimate of time and cost. No commitment required to receive this.
How it works
The five-day process.
No system access required. You provide files, exports, or screenshots. We do the analysis and deliver findings in writing.
Day 1 — Discovery call
A 60-minute working session to understand how the business runs, what reports are currently used, what spreadsheets or systems are involved, and where decisions are hard to make.
Days 2–3 — Reporting audit
Review of your current files, reports, dashboards, and exports — or screenshots if system access is not available. We identify duplicate reporting, manual bottlenecks, unclear metric definitions, and missing visibility.
Days 4–5 — Clarity plan
Delivery of a written action plan: current reporting problems, recommended reporting structure, priority metrics, a dashboard layout, and a scoped recommendation for the next build.
Scope clarity
What this is not.
Not a sales call
The engagement produces a real deliverable. You receive written findings and a concrete recommendation regardless of whether you engage Orivian for the build.
Not open-ended
One week. Fixed scope. Clear deliverables. No retainer required before or after.
Not generic advice
The output is specific to your business, your data, and your reporting situation — not a template or a playbook.
Pricing
$750
Fixed price. One week. No retainer required.
Orivian is currently accepting a limited number of introductory engagements at this rate. In exchange, we ask for direct feedback and permission to use the outcome as an anonymous case study. The standard rate for this engagement will be $1,500–$2,500.
If the findings point to a larger build — a reporting dashboard, an automated workflow, or a data integration — Orivian will scope and price that as a separate engagement. Typical build engagements run $5,000–$15,000 depending on scope.
